1. Units in Part A Numeracy

In clinical medicine, "dose" refers to the specific amount of medication administered to a patient at a given time. Effective dosing is essential for achieving therapeutic benefits while avoiding toxic effects.

How the Measures you can answer  in your CBT exam, have a look below,

Example-1:

Question: What is the volume that has been drawn up into the syringe? Please use the correct units and write your answers to one decimal place.



Answer: 0.8 mL

(Please note, if you don't write units it is critical error, make sure you do not add 's' at the end ('mls' -wrong) it should  be  mL or ml)


Example-2:

Question: What is the volume that has been dispensed? Please use the correct unit.


Answer: 15 mL

Example-3:

Question: What is the volume that has been dispensed? Please use the correct unit.



Answer: 10 mL
